A school bus carrying 16 school children caught fire on Tuesday afternoon in Köyliö in Satakunta.
None aboard the bus was injured as the school children alighted from the bus to walk home while some got rides to their destinations.
The fire was suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in the air conditioner.
The situation was discovered early enough and the driver guided the children out of the bus.
The driver then used a fire extinguisher to douse the fire. Later, fire fighters interfered to bring the fire fully under control.
