The woman publicly identified as Saara said she met with Aarnio once or twice a week.

“The reason for Aarnio’s visit was sex. Of course, I also always made him coffee and a sandwich, or maybe sweet buns,” the woman told the court.

According to Saara, Aarnio’s visits sometimes annoyed her, because she would have rather have watched Emmerdale and the Bold and the Beautiful after a hard day’s work.

Generally, they met between 12 O’clock and 4 O’clock.

According to Saara, Aarnio presumably visited her while on duty. She spoke of giving him, among other things, an Indian head massage and oral sex.

Saara said Aarnio would pay her with 500 euro notes, receiving smaller bills in change, and that he always wore gloves while handling money.

Saara said she met Aarnio in 1997. According to her, their friendship ended in 2011, when Aarnio would not help her with a serious violent crime.

Aarnio is accused of drug trafficking and abuses of authority. Aarnio has denied all the charges. He also disputed having sexual relations with the woman or of having any detailed information that she was a prostitute.
