Uncertainty among the people regarding Finland´s position about joining military alliance NATO has increased, according to a survey commissioned by Defence Information Planning Commission.
However, there has been no significant change in support or opposition for NATO membership, said the survey results.
According to the survey conducted in November, 58 percent of Finns are opposed NATO membership, with 27 percent in favor. 15 percent of respondents did not take a position either way.
In the 2014 autumn survey, 60 percent of Finns opposed NATO membership, with 30 percent in favor. Only 10 percent were unsure of their position.
