Online services in the country have once again come under attack.

The parliament office on Wednesday afternoon announced via Twitter that its public website was suffering from a denial-of-service (DOS) attack.

The online services of the national social insurance institution Kela also came under DOS attacks on Sunday and Monday causing short downtimes.

Due to the attacks, access to the services from abroad was limited, and the search function was offline. The services were operating normally on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the defence ministry website also came under a DOS attack, preventing the normal access to the web pages. According to the ministry, the attack had lasted for about four hours.

In February, a number of other ministry websites also suffered similar attacks. As a result, disruptions affected the websites of the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Financial Stability Agency.
