The District Court of Espoo on Wednesday handed lengthy prison sentences to seven persons for widespread distribution of amphetamine and methamphetamine.
The convicted persons acquired and relayed over 10 kilogrammes of amphetamine, over three kilogrammes of methamphetamine and at least three kilogrammes of hashish.
The drugs were disseminated in the capital city region, Jyväskylä and Kouvola.
Two men in their 40s were sentenced to 12 years in prison. Two others who were convicted – a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman – were handed 10 years and six and a half years prison sentences respectively.
In addition, three others received less than two years in prison and fines.
