The Border Guard presented their new sea rescue helicopter, the Super Puma model, on Tuesday.
The new helicopters will go into service early next month in Helsinki.
The new Super Puma AS332L1e helicopter can accommodate a five-man crew as well 15 others, which is important especially in major search and rescue operations, the Border Guard explained.
The new helicopters are also more stable and offer safer operation, for example, in very bad weather conditions.
