Most of confiscation was done at Tornio en route from Haparanda in Sweden, where there are four wholesale businesses.
According to Customs estimation, nine out of ten smugglers manage to cross the border successful without being penalized, which means that illegal imports of smuggling last year would have been over 10 tonnes.
Individual confiscation in the past was around 10 kilogrammes, but at present time the typical amount is 30 kilogrammes and even 100 kilogrammes is not unusual, said the Customs.
