Electronic outlets will soon be obliged to take the responsibility of receiving small electronic wastes of devices such as old mobile phones and computers.

According to the Ministry of Environment, the new obligation concerns electronic outlets occupying space of more than 400 square meters.

As per the new directive, which will come into force next month, returns will now be made in the nearest available outlets.

The outlets have usually accepted the return of such wastes only if the customer made a new purchase.

The new directive will come into force next month.
