FTimes-STT Report, January 16

Experts believe that politicians do not have sufficient understanding about the economic problems of the country, said a survey report.

In the survey, conducted by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, leading personalities gave politicians only up to about 5.5 on a scale of 10.

The survey report was published in an industrial seminar organised by the Ministry. A total of 70 eminent personalities from the arena of economics were enclosed in the survey.

The decision makers of the industries sector felt that there was still room for improvement and criticised the labour market organisations and the attitude of public actors.

They also unanimously agreed that the common currency Euro was very important for the Finnish industries and agreed that the country should continue using it.

They also gave 8.5 to the Euro on a benefit scale of 10. They believed that the full benefits of the Euro market have not yet been fully realised.
