A survey conducted by the Finnish Chamber of Commerce shows that the majority of Finnish enterprises support sanctions on Russia.
Two-thirds of the surveyed businesses consider the sanctions justified. Some of the respondents even indicated their preference for tougher measures.
One-fourth of the 2,700 respondents do not support the sanctions while one-tenth would prefer milder sanctions.
“The sanctions have the support of the Finnish companies although many businesses suffer from the situation,” said Risto E. J. Penttilä, CEO of Finland Chamber of Commerce.
