Police arrested six demonstrators at the Pyhäjoki nuclear power plant construction site in North Ostrobothnia on Monday.
The police said the protester failed to comply with the request to disperse, but instead hampered the traffic at the construction site.
About a dozen protesters showed at the construction site at 6 am. Some tied themselves to each other using ropes and chains. The protesters had to be untied before the arrest.
The police said the six had been arrested for insubordination.
The roadwork is related to the planned Fennovoima nuclear power plant.
