A Court of Appeal in Helsinki on Thursday sentenced a 37-year-old man to 11 years imprisonment for aggravated child sexual abuse as well as other crimes.
The court increased the severity of the sentence overturning the 8 years imprisonment sentence which had earlier been handed by a district court.
The crimes were committed between 2003 and 2013.
In addition to being convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, the man was also found guilty of sexual abuse, buying sexual services, repeated assault and making unlawful threats.
The convicted was also handed a 40,000 euro fine as compensation to the victims.
