Three people were killed in two separate road accidents at Oulu and North Ostrobothnia on Saturday.
 
Police said that a motorcyclist died from injuries sustained during a collision with a car in Mustasaari, North Ostrobothnia on Saturday morning.
 
The accident took place at the Kokkolantie-Vassorintie intersection.
 
According to reports received by the police, the motorcyclist coming from the direction of Kokkola collided head on with the car making a left turn from Kokkolantie towards Vassorintie.
 
The police are investigating the case as endangering traffic and manslaughter.
 
Both the part of the motorist and motorcyclist will be investigated.
 
In another accident, two men died in a collision involving two cars along the Kuusamontie in Oulu.
 
The accident took place at Jääli at around 3:30 am on Saturday morning.
 
According to the police, the car driver coming from the direction of Kuusamo accelerated overtaking the car in front, and afterwards colliding with a car which was coming in the direction of Oulu.
 
Both car drivers died from the severity of the collision. There were no other passengers travelling in the cars.
