Vikman won the contest with 75 votes ahead of her challengers Jaana Pelkonen, who received 50 votes, and Raija Lummi who got two votes.
Born in 1983, Vikman has been a member of parliament representing the electoral district of Pirkanmaa since 2011 and a councillor at the Tampere City Council since 2008.
Before becoming an MP, Vikman worked as a parliamentary assistant to Merikukka Forsius.
Vikman succeeds Foreign Trade and Development Minister Lenita Toivakka who gave up the post after two terms.
Henna Virkkunen and Paula Risikko have also had stint at the helm of Kokoomus women organisation.
The two-day convention in Pori ended on Sunday.
