The ruling Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) communications officer, Mari Kokko has been nominated for the post of the party secretary to be elected in the upcoming party council scheduled at Seinäjoki in June.
The 40-year-old Kokko in a facebook post on Saturday said that she has more than 20 years of experience in the party at different levels of policy-making.
Kokko said that she is motivated, enthusiastic and earnest.
According to her, the party has a lot of work in the coming years, starting with municipal elections next year.
The party council will take place at Seinäjoki from June 10 to June 12.
