FTimes – STT Report, Mar 17

Leaders of the right wing patrol group Soldiers of Odin have posed with weapons and Nazi imagery, reported the national broadcaster YLE.

YLE based its reports on screenshots that originated in a closed Facebook group.

The group shared pictures with, among other things, a clubhouse decorated with Nazi symbols and Nazi salute from a female member as well as men in Soldiers of Odin jackets sporting rifles.

In one screenshot, the organisation’s leader Mika Ranta claimed that he belongs to the MV Lehti publication’s secret group, where he was promised to receive as much column space as Soldiers of Odin wants.

The Soldiers of Odin organisation was founded last October in Kemi. The group operates in more than 20 locations. According to YLE, the organisation of the group resembles a motorcycle gang.
