The new law will come into effect at the beginning of September.
The government intends, among other things, to reduce the appeal period.
For example, the time to appeal against the Immigration Service’s asylum decisions to the Administrative Court will be shortened from 30 days to 21.
In addition, the conditions for obtaining permission to appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court will become stricter.
Appeal cases concerning international protection have been dealt with urgently by both the Administration Court and the Supreme Administration Court.
Attorneys will be granted only during asylum interviews for serious reasons, or if a minor asylum seeker is in the country unaccompanied.
