The police on Monday arrested a number of people suspected of assaulting a 15-year-old boy at the end of July at Linnansaari in Oulu, reported Finnish language daily Iltalehti.
A group of men beat up and kicked the boy before finally dumping him in the sea.
The police caught the suspects with the help of eye witnesses account and their own investiga-tion.
According to Iltalehti, all the suspects are Finnish citizens.
The group of about 10-15 men is suspected of robbing another young man on the same night.
