The fall is largely explained by the exceptionally high value of new orders in the corresponding time period of the previous year, generated by, for example, a few large orders in the shipbuilding industry.
During January to June, the orders went down by 12.3 per cent from the year before, the data show.
Enterprises received more orders than twelve months ago in June only in the textile industry.
In the industry of the manufacture of paper and paper board products, the orders declined by 4.4 per cent while in the metal industry by 43.0 per cent year-on-year.
The statistics show strong fluctuations by month.
