The Social Organizations leaders on Thursday initially found a solution to prepare a proposal regarding labour market wage. The leaders sat in a meeting as a continuation of their Wednesday´s meeting and now feared that the point of three day training leave could be a major issue on way to resolve the dispute before sitting with the government for final approval. They hoped that the three day training issue should be resolved on Monday to open up the centralize wage negotiation with the government. STTK chairman Mikko Mäenpää said that some more developments needed to make the effort a success on Monday. EK president and Chief Executive Officer Jyri Hakamies said that they have listed the issues to be discussed but no decision is made yet. He, however, said that everything was alright to have a good discussion. Municipal Labour market director Markuu Jalonen, said that three day training leave would give tax benefit to the employers. The minister for Labour, Lauri Ihalainen could not be reached immedietly for a comment in this regard. The social organizations leaders on Wednesday ended the discussion and hopping that there might be an amicable solution regarding the labour market wage issue after holding further discussions. The leaders who were asked by the government to prepare a proposal regarding the negotiation, will sit again next week twice to find out a result. More News
