Reformation in EU boarder control
FTimes-STT Report, March 8

The Finland wanted that the fingerprint identification system should be introduced from the beginning of the proposed reformation in the European Union boarder control.

The Finland Interior Minister, Päivi Räsänen on Thursday argued in favour of introduction the fingerprint identification at the initial stage, although the EU commission’s original plan  said to implement the fingerprint issues by next three years in the border to enhance the security measures.

The parliamentary debate has been opened up on Thursday regarding the EU border control issue.  The .member countries in the EU are planning to make the visa procedure liberal for the Russia and other Eastern countries.

Terming the boarder reformation as a core idea for smooth traffic mobilization, the Finland hoped  to provide considerable assistance towards the border reform.
