Crown Princess Victoria was the guest of honour at the Future Forum which focuses on economy and competitiveness.
In her speech, Victoria said there is a deep connection between Finland and Sweden which should not be taken for granted.
“Our cooperation must be continued from generation to generation,” said Victoria.
Later, on the same day, the princess took part in a discussion on Finnish-Swedish networking programming with participating young people.
The programme is intended to bring young and talented young from both countries in fields such as economics, politics, culture and media.
“Through personal encounters, our countries also become closer and stronger,” Victoria told the Future Forum audience.
The visit of the crown princess lasted a day.
