A group of young boys raged a bus that plies in route 78 in Eastern Helsinki's Vuosaari district Friday evening, police said on Saturday.
 
The incident occurred as the bus arrived at the terminus. As other passengers exited the bus, the boys began to run down the bus aisle screaming, tearing the emergency hammers from the windows and threatening to smash out the glass.
 
The boys also tried to grab the till, but the driver stopped them and made them get down from the bus. After this, the boys ran around the bus, throwing rocks and trying the open the bus's doors from the outside.
 
Police patrols caught six of the boys. One minor was taken home, and five others were taken to the Pasila police station on suspicion of attempted theft.
