Talks to form the next government continues on Monday as the parties involved in the negotiations look up for new measures such as digitalisation which can lead to savings.

Kimmo Tiilikainen who is leading the working group on economic issue believes reforms which could bring about savings could be implemented in employment and entrepreneurial related services.

According to Tiilikainen, negotiators are looking up for fast track digitalisation tools to ensure savings are achieved as early as in the beginning of the parliamentary term.

"Digitalisation offers tools for these reforms. There should be information on the composition of the 10 billion euros in adjustments in the midweek government negotiations," Tiilikainen said.

There will be information on how much savings will be achieved through immediate direct savings, how much through the short term and how much through long-term structural reforms.

Tiilikainen considers a timetable realistic when there is no sanctioned detailed list of cuts.
