According to the ministry, the invitation to tender concerning the procurement is currently under consideration at the United States Congress.

The ministry said the procurement of the new guided munitions will make the use of the rocket launch system procured in 2006 more efficient and diversify the range of munitions available for the multiple-launch rocket systems.
