The windows of the mosque in Oulu were broken at around 2 am Thursday morning, said Oulu police.

Four darkly-dressed men reportedly left the location and proceeded to a nearby car.

The Oulu mosque belongs to the Islamic Society of Northern Finland.

Oulu police are investigating the incident as an act of property damage.

The police have appealed for witnesses
