Three lawmakers on Tuesday have celebrated their 30 years terms in the Finnish parliament as parliamentarians.

Keskusta (Center party) leader  Sirkka-Liisa Anttila, Suomen  Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democrat party-SDP) leader  Kari Rajamäki and Kokoomus (National Coalition party) leader  Kimmo Sasi marked the 30th anniversary of their parliamentary career together in the parliament along with their political and official colleagues.

Former lawmaker and the Director General of National Social Insurance Institution (KELA), Liisa Hyssälä of the Center party at a press conference held in Parliament, remembered the former parliamentary comrades and celebrated their 30 years and presented each of them gifts.

The trio elected as Parliament member for the first time in 1983, started their careers in Parliament in early April in the same year. 

Rajamäki and Sasi have been sitting in Parliament since then continuously. Anttila was elected member in the European Parliament in 1996 and returned to the Finnish parliament in 1999. 

The Speaker of the parliament, Eero Heinäluoma while congratulating the lawmakers on the occasion appreciated the role of the lawmakers during their prolong political career. 

All of the lawmakers performed responsibilities as ministers and again returned to discharge duties as lawmakers later.
