Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang will arrive today on an official visit to discuss economic issues, trade between Finland and China, matters concerning agriculture and forestry, and cultural issues, said an official press release.
 
Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb and Vice Premier Wang will meet in Kesäranta on 18 November to discussions bilateral trade and economic relations, international economic issues, and relations between the EU and China, said the release.
 
The meeting will end with signing of memorandums and agreements including an action plan for agricultural cooperation between Finland and China for 2015-2016, agreement on environmental and innovation cooperation in Beijing, and memorandum on cultural exchange and cooperation for 2015.
 
Wang, accompanied by a large business delegation, will visit Finnish businesses on 19 November.
 
During his visit, Wang will also have a meeting with Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö, Minister of Finance Antti Rinne and Minister of Economic Affairs Jan Vapaavuori. 
 
The Chinese Vice-premier and Finnish Finance Minister Rinne will exchange views on the economic situation in China and Europe, said the release. 
 
Dinner discussions hosted by Economic Affairs Minister Vapaavuori will centre on bilateral trade relations and investments.
