The minister of EEA and EU Affairs of Norway, Vidar Helgesen is scheduled to visit Finland on Monday.
The Norwegian minister will meet with minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini during the visit to Helsinki, according to a press release of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
The ministers' bilateral talks would focus, among other things, current issues in the European policy and EEA, strengthening of the Nordic EU cooperation, Arctic issues, security policy matters, and Russia and the situation in Ukraine.
During his visit, Helgesen will also meet Minister for Nordic Cooperation Anne Berner. The ministers are expected to discuss the successive Nordic presidencies of Finland and Norway in 2016 and 2017, strengthening of the Nordic EU cooperation, and Nordic and bilateral infrastructure projects, transport and communications matters.
