The Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) activists are hoping for more serious approach and leadership from the party hierarchy, according to a poll by MTV News.

The survey also revealed that the success rate of the party chair, Alexander Stubb has dropped significantly compared to the previous survey.

According to MTV, critical voices, especially among the Kokoomus’s more conservative members, hope that the leader of the party would be more focused and serious.

The MTV news survey was answered by 94 people, or 63 per cent of party’s district board members.

Last spring, 69 per cent of respondents felt that Stubb fared at least “well” in his role. Last December, the corresponding figure was 60 per cent of respondents.

The current figure is 47 per cent, a decrease of 22 percentage points from last year survey.
