The mothers who will receive the decoration have distinguished themselves as educators of children and young people while bearing the co-responsibility of supporting the family life.

This year, the mothers being awarded have been active in local organisations and associations, in addition to their careers.

The oldest among them was born during the war period and the youngest during the 1970s.

The mothers will be recognised at the Säätytalo (House of Estates) during the Mother’s Day celebration to be jointly organised by the MLL and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
