The Stockmann premises in Oulu caught fire on Tuesday. The rescue department received the alarm shortly before four O’clock in the afternoon.
According to the rescue department, the fire originated on the roof of the building, which is currently under renovation.
The police cordoned the streets, and the building was evacuated.
According to the Oulu Command Centre, there were 10 fire brigade units and 4-5 police cars on scene. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was injured.
