The Finnish ambassador in Russia is yet to receive invitation to the Russian summit intended to discuss the European military-political situation, the foreign ministry told the news agency STT.
The Ministry of Defence has also not received any invitation yet.
Estonia, on the other hand, has been invited to the summit by Russia. The invitation was received via the Estonian embassy in Moscow.
According to the Russian news agency Tass, Finland, Sweden and NATO countries have been invited to the September summit.
According to the Russian deputy minister of defence, Russia offers Finland and other countries the opportunity for negotiations on the basis of bilateral agreements.
