An armoured vehicle veered off road on Tuesday injuring a conscript during a training exercise at Kankaanpää in Satakunta on Tuesday.
The accident took place during a joint action exercise led by Pori brigade at around 9 am, said the Defence Forces.
The armoured personnel transportation vehicle 'Pasi' was on its way from Säkylä to Niinisalo, when for unknown reason went off road on the right side falling into a ditch.
According to the Defence Forces, there were seven conscripts inside the vehicle during the acci-dent, and one of them was injured in the arm.
The conscript was taken to Tampere University Hospital for treatment.
