Air fighters of Sweden and Norway along with the Finnish Air Force will participate in the training under the Lapland Air Command conventional training areas in Rovaniemi, Pelkosenniemi, Kemijärvi, Kuusamo, Ranua, Pudasjärvi, Taivalkoski and Puolanka airspace.
According to the air force, most of the flights during the training will take place from Tuesday to Thursday.
The training flights will be operated from 8.00am to 6.00pm daily during the week.
Finland is participating in the exercise with at least five F/A-18 Hornet multi-purpose fighters and 70-strong department. Sweden will participate with six JAS-39 Gripen subjects, and Norway with a maximum of five F-16 fighters, air force sources said.
