FTimes Report, Dec 25

A number of road mishaps took place in the southern part of the country on Wednesday afternoon due to bad road conditions and poor visibility, the news agency STT reported quoting police

and rescue department sources.

No major casualty, however, was reported.

About half a dozen accidents took place on Road Number 3 in between Helsinki and Tampere following the snow fall.

At least three people were injured in the accidents, reported Yle.

Fire Service Chief Juhani Sudenmäki told Yle that driving conditions on many sections of the road are quite challenging owing to poor visibility caused by gusts of snow, the Yle report said.
