Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö will take part in the meeting of Nordic defence ministers on March 30-31 in Copenhagen.

Denmark holds the chairmanship of the Nordic defence cooperation (Nordefco) in 2016, said an official press release.

The Nordic defence ministers will discuss current topics in Nordic defence cooperation and the security situation in neighbouring areas.

They will also address joint exercises and participation in crisis management operations, the press release added.
