According to information by Finnish news agency STT, the documents are real and the proceedings are still pending before the Helsinki District Court.
The police justify in the documents the closing of MV-lehti site on the suspicion that the site has published messages from the perpetrators of various crimes, including ethnic incitement and aggravated defamation.
MV-lehti chief editor Ilya Janitskin has not, according to the police documents, removed the suspected messages from the network despite requests.
Police are asking for the court to handle the matter promptly without hearing the parties concerned.
