Prime Minister Juha Sipilä on Saturday condemned the bombing attacks in Turkey.

"Our thoughts are in Turkey, with the relatives and friends of those deceased. Finland strongly condemns the attack," said Sipilä  in a statement issued by the Finnish government.

The prime minister also expressed his condolences on behalf of the Finnish government to Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu for mourning the victims killed in the attack.

At least 86 people have been killed and up to 186 wounded in the pair of explosions which targeted a peace rally at the central railway station in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Saturday.
