The accident took place on Highway 21 around the Swedish bordering area near the boundary be-tween the municipalities of Enontekiö and Muonio.
The road was extremely slippery at the time of the accident.
Four of the 28 on board passengers sustained wounds in the accident.
The injuries, however, did not appear to be serious and the injured passengers managed to get out of the bus on their own.
“They are receiving first aid treatment. I understand that no one is in danger,” said chief fire fighter on duty Pohto Kirkkala.
According to Kirkkala, the bus owned by a Finnish bus company bus was taking tourists to the north.
